How often e-bike motor preventive maintenance should happen depends on: the particular type of motor, number of kilometres and more.
When you start to feel that something is wrong with your e-motor (e.g. if it makes an unusual noise), it’s usually a bit late for mechanical parts (e.g. bearings) to be restored and they will need to be replaced. E-motor repair
The e-motor repair refers to troubleshooting and replacing mechanical parts (like bearings or belts) or electronic components.

An electronics repair is needed when your e-bike lost a function (like walk assist, for example), when the motor stopped working all together or when you see some error code displayed on your screen.
